WHO ARE WE?????????
We are the pupils of Knockaclarig National School. By snail mail you can find us at Brosna, Tralee, County Kerry as this is our administration address. However we are geographically located in the Constituency of Cork North-West in the Barony of Duhallow at Rockchapel, Mallow, County Cork, IRELAND. We are also located in an area called Sliabh Luachra,a location which cannot be geographically defined but which is often referred to as a state of mind.
We are a mainstream two teacher school with a learning support teacher and a current enrolment of thirty pupils.You can access loads of information about us on our sister site http://homepage.eircom.net/~knockaclarigns This present site is developed for another reason . It is built to chronicle the myriad of activities that we engage in during the course of any one year.We are using the media of audio and imaging in a big way to highlight this mission. You might say we are engaging in a form of e-photo journalism. The site is strictly for educational purposes. From time to time we shall record community activities in the parishes of Brosna, Rockchapel and Mountcollins as we have pupils fom Cork, Kerry and Limerick.
As we have strong Euro connections we decided to integrate some Romanian singing and music.
